The Medicare SmartStart Program™ is my creation. I hold the trademark, which means I make my own rules and can determine how best to serve the community without outside influence or conflict of interest from the Insurance Companies.

To be transparent, in 2015, we set up our corporation to be 1099 independent contractors and choose to accept a fixed fee-for-service, which is set each year directly by the Centers for Medicare Services (CMS).

We are paid every two-weeks, based on the number of people who we successfully put through the Medicare SmartStart Program™. Our fixed-fee is the same, irrelevant of how we help you, or which insurance plan we may help you compare and choose after our review and recommendations.

Said simply, I can actually provide better for my family by keeping things free to you, and focusing on over-delivering a better service and experience which exceeds your expectations, than providing a mediocre service to the masses.

Essentially, by serving people better, we have a bigger IMPACT and by default, our we don't have to worry about our income. 

We do not have to meet any monthly sales quotas, so you can sleep soundly knowing we never allow ourselves to be bribed, bought-off, or bonused based on persuading or pushing you to pick one plan over the other.

For starters, we are a service-based company --- NOT a sales-based company.

This means we have no affiliation with any Insurance Company, so you can trust that any conversation we have with you has no hidden incentive, no influence, and no conflict of interest...without question and without compromise.

And while everyone else, whether online, over-the-phone, or in-person, starts with "Let me show you our great coverage choices" (which is sales speak for here's why you should buy our stuff), we do the complete opposite.

We start with a conversation about you and your unique needs. We want you to share your situation and understand the benefits you are entitled to for all that money they've taken from your paycheck over the last 30 or 40 years.

You need to be confident you know if Medicare even makes sense to sign up for at 65...OR...maybe it makes more sense to suspend and sign up later in life...and I will hold-you-by-the-hand to help you figure out all that fine print, plus put in place a protection plan to prevent paying a late penalty, fine or fee in the future.

Typically, when you sign up for Medicare the traditional way, it takes upwards of 3 months for the complete the entire enrollment cycle. (1) fill out and file your forms, process your paperwork, approve your application and finally issue your Medicare ID.

It can be a lengthy, long amount of time to anxiously await, wondering and worrying if you did things correctly, on time and without error...

1. Will the person, or place, be compensated by the company they work for? (conflict of interest to their conversation).

2. Are they offering a planning service, or selling you something? (look for third-party educational material VS branded sales material trying to sell you something specific from a certain company).

3. What other services do they offer? It is my belief to have documented authority, credibility and expertise, you must be focused on a single niche, not mediocre at many. (as the saying goes "jack of all trades, master of none).
